Filteration: Spiritual Persepective

God leaves me air locked time and time again. You think God has amazed you and then he does a supernatural stunt superseding the previous supernatural miracle. This is our God, who is like Yahweh. None I tell you, none like my Abba father. This post was inspired when I looked at my bbm (blackberry messenger) when my spiritual Daddy (Pastor Trevor Dolan) was chatting to me, everyone should have a spiritual Dad like mine, a true father; we need fathers to arise on the Earth. That my darlings is another post altogether. (Smiles). 

All I wanted to bbm to Dad the following message “I am looking at your profile picture. You have a funnel. The purpose of a funnel is to ensure no oil spillages”. I planned to type just that message but the spirit took over and I was prophetically inspired. Once a started typing and I could not stop, this is what I ended up typing, I could not believe it. Remember I said I typed “I am looking at your profile picture. You have a funnel. The purpose of a funnel is to ensure no oil spillages. (Continuation) at school with the grade sevens we are doing filtration and use a funnel and filter paper. The filter paper represents the word of God. The funnel is red which represents the blood can be associated with Christ. Filtration is a process where the liquid and solid mixture is separated. Only the water passes through.

I was shocked how it all flowed. Dad replied “don’t be amazed. The Bible says GO FORTH DAUGHTERS OF ZION….therefore inspired words and thoughts are going to come forth”

Lets decode it all further

There has to be a physical separation between particles.

Example:

Looking at a mixture of corn seeds, magnets with stones, rocks and water is an example of some of our lives. The magnets are examples of the things we could be attracted to. The water is the word of God. Corn seeds are the seeds we have planted in the depths of our hearts, it can be like us waiting to be multiplied and produce fruit. The stones are like obstacles which stand in our way but the rock is Jesus.

Looking at the picture which Pastor had as a profile picture. Il will upload it again to make it easy for you to look at it and think about it.

Study the picture and think about the following questions.

What would be the case if one poured down oil without using a funnel?

Out of 200ml of oil being poured, how much oil do you think will really be poured into an oil tank of a car?

How is it important that we use a funnel when pouring oil into an oil tank?

Let us look now at a water and stones mixture. We will need a beaker if we are in a lab but since we are relating it to a spiritual aspect, let us say it is a clay jar the potter moulded for us. The funnel is Jesus because through we go to the father, the water represents the word and the holy spirit, the filter paper is the word of God.

The Bride of Christ

Weddings are exciting to attend, dressing up and meeting all different types of people apart from your family members and friends.

Do you not wonder what the other side looks like and is all about?

 It is great if both sides blend in well.

Who will catch the bouquet?

My favourite wedding to attend: a Christian wedding for it is short and sweet. My favourite part of a Christian wedding is “you may now kiss the bride” just kidding hehehehe although reflecting back at weddings I remember seeing rock n roll kissers, shy kissers, some needed a stop watch. Too much information. (TMI)

My favourite part is, for real now, when the Pastor asks “Does anybody object or disagree with this union”

I bite my bottom lip to prevent my obvious smirk. On the corner of my dark brown eyes I glance around me. Not too much now because I do not want to be permanently squint (crazy laugh).

Hot part is the Pastor looking at loved ones, friends and family present as if he is awaiting someone whom objects to be seated in congregation. I understand its protocol but it is funny to me. At my wedding I will look at my toes because I would probably laugh. Truth is I might be too emotional.

At Indresen (Mothers first cousin) and Melissa Chetty’s wedding which took place in NG Church in Malvern 6^th June 2008. All the single girls were called to make their way to the front of the hall to run/jump like crazy for the bouquet, of course. I refused to go but my loud mouth uncle made sure he shouted out my name so the whole hall full of people waited for me to get to the front. I acted as if it was not me but the Master of Ceremony refused to go on without me and did mention my name is beautiful (Blush, Blush) so I said what the sugary dumpling. Let me just make my in front.

I remember going for Teresha and Bradley’s wedding (Jan 2011) at the Rose Garden. Beautiful! My first garden wedding I attended. After taking pictures out with the glamorous couple we had to make our way out from the spot lights because the line waiting to take their photographs was pretty long hey. I was trying to be helpful to people standing in line. I was thinking of me. I am impatient, Lines are what I dread; maybe this is why I dislike shopping so much.

Don’t look so shocked, I do, I am not lying.

I do like Clicks and Woolworths lines, they move super-fast.

I tried to walk away fast but I had limited place (memory does not allow access as to why the space was limited). My heel of my gladiator sandals dug into the table cloth which leads to the table which behind stood the couple smiling for photographs. Did I mention the beautiful sweet smelling bouquets where on this particular table not forgetting delicious wedding cake. Thank goodness I realized it before the next family in line had a picture with special lightings and side effects and before I was banned from attending weddings. I would have been embarrassed and feel bad to see all that cake go to waste.

Christopher, mum and I just joined Kainos Covenant community in November 2008 and was invited to Delia and Kevin Govender’s wedding December, 13, 2008. My mother cried throughout the wedding all because of Delia having similar features, complexion and built as me.

 All our tissues were finished that day. I felt I watched myself walk down the aisle already, not many people experience this, unless your twin beats you to marriage.

Lets us focus on the bride, besides her wearing something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. Bride wears a veil symbolising purity, a crown saying she will be a queen to her husband and is her father’s princess.

The bride of Christ must be pure. When a couple marry they become one. There is intimacy (post called intimacy with our creator) through sexual intercourse. I am not trying to be perverse, Get my point; the souls are intertwined in this process. Can you imagine Christ coming for an impure bride?

The reality is the bride is the body of Christ and the bride needs to get her act straight because Christ will come soon. We are living in crucial times; the book of revelations has become reality. What else do you want to happen for you to straighten up a crippled bride?

Awestruck at an indescribable and Perfect God

The dictionary has no words to describe our God. A sentence gives no Justice to Abba. To experience Gods embrace so gentle, sometimes in down times, all we need is a hug. When you meet friends after a long period of time or some family members you realise a few are not quick to hug. It makes you feel awkward after hugging a non-hugging person. What about that half-hearted hugs?

God gives you not just any hug. When God leaves his throne room in the Heaven and comes in a Knight in shining armour riding a white horse whose tails is in flames. You can be sure God will hug more than you; God will hug your soul and your situation. Be assured God will bring great comfort to your situation.

Let me take you with me on a journey back in time. No. I have not found a time machine and No the Chinese never make a time machine (everything man made is made in China). (Raised eyebrow)

The book of Genesis God created the heaven and Earth, all its life forms by just speaking it, Omnificent God. God never struggled or screamed, he just said it and it was done. God who is not a drama student with expression and most certainly not an angry person with a projecting and ear drum piercing voice.

God also controls the weather and time.

A supernatural God controlling all natural processes like movement, growth, death and birth and controlling all events taking place all around the solar system at any given time, any nationality, any remote place, even those on the streets, even the outcast. He cares for them too.

6 billion people in the world

We forget names and faces. I forget student’s names in the classroom for crying out aloud. I get away by calling them sweet names like dear, young man, young lady, huni, doll, baby and darling. That is how I naturally am anyway so maybe I should not say I get away to a great degree. 

We forget to complete tasks and we forget what people tell us. Our memory is limited yet God has an unlimited mind and can hear billions of people at the same time and answer their requests.

We admire the amazing sunrise; we are taken aback by looking at the brightly shining stars lighting up the dark sky, we watch animals live and wonder how God created so beautiful creations. Same God lives in me.

There is nothing we do God does not see

Nothing we think or imagine that God does not know

 Or nothing we say God does not hear

Omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent

 All knowing and all powerful and all present God

I can go on and on but you need to open your eyes. The same God loves you equally, we hear of a democratic country but are they really democratic?

No way sunshine, it is all just a name but God my beloved friends is an equal God.

The same God blessed you and gave you victory, the same God will continue to do what he did for you, will do for you what he did for others and what he did in the days of the Bible. God will outdo it all; remember if he did it before he will surely as the heavens will do it again.
 Guaranteed, Note this guarantee lasts for eternity and it is safe to take the slip and throw it away because you have Gods promise and he isn’t a liar, if we speaking of lies we are talking about the Devil. God is too pure and true for that sort of things.

Conclusion:

Although there no end to God there is however, end to this blog post. (Sarcasm)

The demand for Ransom

I am not going to explain who Donovan Munsamy also known as Brandon is to me. After being mentioned in two blog posts you should know him to be my Mentor/Spiritual brother by now. We chatted on Sunday and he inspired me to write a post on the demand and then about ransom so that brings me to my title THE DEMAND FOR RANSOM. I was still working on this post and Pragasen Pillay lead worship in Chatsworth on Sunday 13 May 2012 (Mother’s Day) and mentioned DEMAND. That is not all my Spiritual Daddy Pastor Trevor Dolan ministered and confirmed this blog and two others. God is amazing!

What is a demand?

It is related to a command. It is a statement. It has authority and dominion. You are not asking but telling. There no MANNER VOCABULARY involved in this demanding sentence because it has exclamation marks!

Scenario One:

At a restaurant you get poor service from your clumsy, forgetful, young waitress. Let’s give her a name. What shall we call her? (Put on my or our thinking cap {LOL}). How about Sarah. Sarah makes you wait awhile before she brings your order to you. As you wait your tummy begins singing Opera converting into a hungry beast. The smells of food travel from the kitchen into your nasal cavity and affect the Opera singers and starving beasts trapped in pit of your stomach. The other waitresses and waiters are on the roll. When they pass you the smell hits you and you get more upset, the steam also hits your face and you feel hot headed. A plan of action is needed but your brain requires energy, energy comes from food and this waitress has not brought it to you. The little energy you have you try and use to devise a master plan BUT distractions from fast waiters/waitresses comes and those opera singers and starving beast start acting up once again. Reminds me off Jacob and Esau in the Bible and that Bowl of Soup. History will not repeat itself; there are sauces on the Table.

Sarah smiles and gives you your order; all your plots and plans fade away as the steam evaporates. The little energy you have left is used to reach towards utensils and a platter. Smiling at Sarah you smile and look at your meal about to devour it as she stands beside you to ensure all is well. You look properly at your meal, and you are not surprised, you where brought a wrong order.

This is it, you release hungry beasts and opera singers and your appetite is now lost. Never again will you eat at this restaurant. You Demand to see the manager because you know you are right, in fact you have a right to a good service on time no matter what circumstances. When you see the manager, Sarah is scared because her manager is a higher ranking than her; she may lose her job or get a warning.

Now you understand the term DEMAND. Let’s look at Ransom.

Any action movie has a scene where someone is kidnapped and held hostage by obviously bad guys, if they were good they will not take a person and keep them safe or let alone kidnap. Imagine a few people take you somewhere and treat you like gold and after they are done leave you back in your home, safe and sound, how we wish. Just a few random thoughts thrown at you from my imaginative mind.

As I was saying to you. In most cases people who are kidnapped are either people in power, rich family or friends.  The bad guys are certain they will get a big amount of cash in small period of time if they get somebody kidnaped from a rich family. They will not kidnap a beggar from a street corner or a middle class individual; they rather join these individuals in their jobs or daily routines. Not worthy kidnapping a middle class/ Poor person all because these people have no big cash on hand.  The enemy calls the victim’s family with their voice exposed or a special device changing their voices into a voice from scary movie. (Chuckling away). They tell the family what we see happen in any movie this scene occurs in, “BRING THE _______ (RANSOM) MONEY TO ______LOCATION AT _____ TIME ON THE DOT, COME ALONE AND DO NOT TELL THE COPS OR WE WILL HURT _________”. The bad guy takes the victim near the mobile  for them to scream through a dirty looking piece of dusting furniture or washing car cloth tied around their mouth, EEEEWWW!!!!. The victim will try and have a lengthy conversation with their family member as if the bad guys are lending free minutes. The victim might say do not come it is a trap and the bad guys cut the call.  The victim’s family get police involved and bad guys find out, if bad guys do not find out, WHERES THE MOVIE? WHERE IS THE ACTION?

It is predictable because in a scary movie I know somebody is going to slip and twist their ankle and throughout the whole movie they will be limping and running away from their killer with help from someone else who will try to help them balance and be their eyes and not forgetting saying “HE IS COMING, FASTER”. The individual limping will say “LEAVE ME”. The helper will say I am not leaving you.  At the end the one limping survives. They need to change it around now.

Really, (Shaking head from side to side).

What did I tell you??????? PREDICTABLE!!!!!!!

Scenario Two:

(Inspired to use the name when I entered and boring Lecture in Lecture 7 UKZN Edgewood for language and Literacy 320 and found this on the smart bored, I smiled to myself to know God wanted me to use this in this post)

There is a man called SINBAD (Not his name SIN_BAD) also known as Satan and he Kidnaps you because he hears you have big inheritance from ABRAHAM. Sinbad did his homework and found out you are a prince and princess and your father is the King of the world. Sinbad knew a smart move is to kidnap you. Sinbad calls your Father. Abba Father

also known as God answers and (Such a Glory as I type this part to you) send Ransom as promised.

ABBA Father sends JESUS and TWO STICKS. Jesus nailed to the cross is what Father sends to Sinbad. As sung by Chris Tomlin, JESUS MESSIAH; a part of the Lyrics there is a line that goes “THE RANSOME FROM HEAVEN”. Whom the son sets free is free indeed.

you are now free

You can demand wisdom, demand the anointing. Demand for it with authority because you have the right to demand for it. Ask like it is yours, have faith and call what is not as if it is.

The Mind

It is said to be the Devils work shop.  A place where we hear the voice of Abba Father and we can hear foreign voices.  Where the idea of master minds are born.  Where personality is, where all different kinds of thoughts linger.  Some thoughts are ignored; others are increased when we think about it further.

All these activities are just a fraction of what goes on in the human mind.

Ever wondered what causes a murderer, molester or criminal to behave in the manner which they do. What causes someone who is so quiet in nature to brutally murder? Is this abnormal behaviour even acknowledged by them that this is unacceptable to society? How does someone come to a point of no hope and commit a horrid deed that consists of planning to take their own life - Suicide? Is this a result of over thinking? Pressure or depression, maybe even disappointment?

Research shows if someone attempts suicide and fails it , the likelihood is they are going to try it again until they COMPLETE SUICIDE.

Lunatics are said to be called Lunatics because they are affected by changes of the Lunar, also known as the moon.

Interesting facts but let’s look at how our human minds can limit us and distract us from the purposes of God.

One negative thought can increase to a point it eliminates all positive thoughts.

Guilt can eat you up inside where you cannot forgive yourself from your sin you have committed YET God has forgiven you. Please do not get the wrong impression about what I am saying. I am saying guilt is good if you DO NOT repeat a mistake and you learn from it but were guilt can be so wrong is when you cut yourself from people, church and ministry all because you feel you can never in a million years be forgiven.

Point: We sin daily, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

Your human mind can say God can give me ONLY 10 yet God can give you 100. Our minds can limit God and out trust in him.

Your mind can keep you so occupied you forget to pray, worship or go to church.

How many times you said OH IT JUST SLIPPED MY MIND

When you think of inaccuracy, when you think of committing sin, by just thinking it IT is a sin. We cannot say I never perform it because you thought of it. It is like saying I purchased alcohol but I do not plan to consume it or I gave my friend money for drugs but I did not buy the drugs. Wrong! It is a sin!

When you have positive thoughts ranging in different sizes in your head you remain focused that if you are walking on a straight road you see ONLY what is in front of you and not a bird flying on your right and your neighbour excitedly waving on your left.

Meditating on the word, all things lovely, good, noble, true and pure is as the saying goes Good for your health.

Rebuke negative and inaccurate thoughts because a thought entertained is like going to snake, acknowledging it is going to bite you, poison you, entangle you and eat you but you choose to allow this serpent in your life.

Rebuke negative voices that says you cannot, you will never, you will suffer, you will not be forgiven.

Negativity can be brought to you by situations, people, loved ones, the enemy and even you yourself is a convict because if you do not meditate on the word of God, an intimate relationship with God, Prayer,. Worship, praise, listening to right kinds of music (PREFERABLY CHRISTIAN) then do you have time to even allow a negative thought to enter your mind.

A thought turns into an idea, and then soon your whole mentality is transformed to think a certain way. Those negative thought came into your territory. You allowed Mr and Mrs Negative to stay in your outbuilding, you kept checking on Mr and Mrs Negative and they felt so at home they multiplied every time you checked on them. You knew it was wrong or you did not expect to get out of hand. You still checked on the family and the little negatives grew and multiplied until they kicked you out of YOUR home so now you are lost. WHAT TO DO?

MAKE UP YOUR MIND NOW

SET YOUR MIND RIGHT NOW

FOCUS YOUR MIND ON PURITY AND ACURACY

Next time negative comes to visit. You know what to do. Rebuke in the name of Jesus and block out voices of foreigners.
