Part 4: Stairs and Ladders

Physically:

Stairs in building and homes, stairs outside leading to homes and buildings. Moving stairs are called escalators found in malls. Ladders are used for those hands on kid off jobs, more a handy man’s/woman’s job (trying not to be sexists, it can be sensitive you know {smirk on my face})  like painting house, walls and roofs, putting aerials, changing globes and I think I made you realise why there is a need for a ladder. Children playing on a jungle gym will climb a ladder, a game that has ladders, be it video games or board games, a ladder to climb a slide at a pool (Ushaka Marine World). We can agree with a statement that stairs and ladders work two ways that is you can go up and down.

Spiritually:

Stairs and ladders can lead us to the throne rooms of God which is situated in the Heavens. The trick is to have the strength necessary to climb the stairs. There is a bar if you are afraid of heights called trust and faith. To climb a ladder you are not allowed to look down at your past. You are required not to carry your burdens but cast it to Jesus so your shoulders are light.  You must also focus above on God; make Jesus the centre of it all. Make sure you are going up and never down.

Part 3 :Bridges

Physically:

 There are bridges we drive on and bridges we cross to get from one area to another. Bridges remind me of how scary it was crossing a bridge at Croc world where hungry man eating crocodiles lingered below. I went in high School (Welbedene Secondary School) must have been in grade ten. My colleagues so excited to cross a bridge they all rushed at once and we exceeded the maximum number of people on the bridge. The fear that gripped me when I am afraid of heights and to look down to see these Crocodiles circling beneath you waiting for you to be their extra meal for the day.

Spiritually:

In life we are sometimes fooled by crossing a bridge and expecting better but we receive less. In life we need to know which bridges to burn and which bridges to cross.

 I Remember holding on so tightly to the ropes on one side. I felt if I hold on tightly it would be safer for me if the bridge snapped.


 Thankfully we had no problems with the wooden bridge snapping and a Man (White-Not being racist or bias to any social groups {giggling}) came in and helped us get to safe ground.

 How many times in your life has the burdens of life came in and put pressure on your bridge?

How many times have you felt your whole life collapsing down?

How many times have you felt Scavengers waiting for you to die or slip up so they can devour you and rip you apart?

How many times have you held on so tightly, expecting the worst to occur any moment now?

BUT

HOW MANY TIMES DID JESUS COME THROUGH FOR YOU?

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU HELD ON SO TIGHTLY TO THE ROPE BUT THEN REALIZED IT WAS THE SAVIOURS NAIL SCARED HANDS?

Doors and keys, gates and locks, bridges, stairs and ladders Part 2: Gates and Locks

Physically:

Around a church, a castle or a house is a gate which you have to pass to get into an area. There are walls around a house and a gate you have to pass to be in a certain space belonging to someone. At a gate there is someone who needs to give you authorization to enter the premises. These people are referred to as Gatekeepers. We have security


at gates like in buildings, homes, residents or campuses. At Campus we have student cards as identification, in residential areas you have to notify the gatekeeper so he allows your guests in; some people have remotes to gates, intercoms or discs to swipe you in.

Spiritually:

Wooden Gate

God has given you an invite to come into his house, he has notified the gate keepers who are the Angels of God and he has left the Gate opened. When you talk on the intercom he recognizes your voice because he loves you but when God comes to visit you you not only closed the gates to your inhabitants but you locked the gate. When God spoke in the intercom for you to let him in but you ignored him because you never realize the frequency in his voice. You never recognize his voice not because Gods voice has changed. Come on! Kings and Queens, This is THE UNCHANGEABLE GOD we speaking of here. The reason is you chose not to hear Gods voice all the time so you are at a point where you cannot recall your relationship or shall I say connection with the man who is speaking in the intercom. Listen to the whispers of the spirit so you will hear the voice of God and follow his commands.

Doors and keys, gates and locks, bridges, stairs and ladders-Part One Doors and Keys

Doors and keys, gates and locks, bridges, stairs and ladders might be different in ways like material but have one factor in common….they all are a point of newness, new opportunities, higher dimension, moving into new areas and new environments.

Double doors, single doors, wooden doors, aluminium doors, stable doors.

Big keys, small keys, keys for buildings, keys for rooms, keys for volts, keys to the heart

Physically

How many times have you forgotten your set of house keys?

Stranded outside! Standing in front of the door staring at it in hope it will open. It will not open because you do not have the keys. You can turn blue in your face and use all words in a dictionary and words like OPEN SESAME. It still won’t work because you DO NOT POSSESS THE KEYS. You can also try to use your car keys, office keys and neighbours keys, maybe even a loved one’s keys, all the keys they have and it still won’t open your house door. Those keys are not made or meant for your door. You can try but it will break, won’t fit and you are wasting your time. You wait until a family member comes home, use the keys to open the door, be it a sliding door, stable door, wooden door but it opens to a home. You move from being outside into a totally different environment. You might have plants inside but there are no rooms, furniture or utensils outside. It is different.

Spiritually

God has given us a key which is flexible. It can open all types of doors, all sizes. All you have to do is acknowledge the key. God is at the door to your heart and he knocks but there is no answer. Make sure the door of your heart is open so Christ can come in. Welcome him in your heart so he can tabernacle in your heart. Do not keep the door open to negativity (Previous blog post on the MIND) or allow the enemy in. He will try to come in with Sheep’s clothing.

 

The Mind

It is said to be the Devils work shop.  A place where we hear the voice of Abba Father and we can hear foreign voices.  Where the idea of master minds are born.  Where personality is, where all different kinds of thoughts linger.  Some thoughts are ignored; others are increased when we think about it further.

All these activities are just a fraction of what goes on in the human mind.

Ever wondered what causes a murderer, molester or criminal to behave in the manner which they do. What causes someone who is so quiet in nature to brutally murder? Is this abnormal behaviour even acknowledged by them that this is unacceptable to society? How does someone come to a point of no hope and commit a horrid deed that consists of planning to take their own life - Suicide? Is this a result of over thinking? Pressure or depression, maybe even disappointment?

Research shows if someone attempts suicide and fails it , the likelihood is they are going to try it again until they COMPLETE SUICIDE.

Lunatics are said to be called Lunatics because they are affected by changes of the Lunar, also known as the moon.

Interesting facts but let’s look at how our human minds can limit us and distract us from the purposes of God.

One negative thought can increase to a point it eliminates all positive thoughts.

Guilt can eat you up inside where you cannot forgive yourself from your sin you have committed YET God has forgiven you. Please do not get the wrong impression about what I am saying. I am saying guilt is good if you DO NOT repeat a mistake and you learn from it but were guilt can be so wrong is when you cut yourself from people, church and ministry all because you feel you can never in a million years be forgiven.

Point: We sin daily, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

Your human mind can say God can give me ONLY 10 yet God can give you 100. Our minds can limit God and out trust in him.

Your mind can keep you so occupied you forget to pray, worship or go to church.

How many times you said OH IT JUST SLIPPED MY MIND

When you think of inaccuracy, when you think of committing sin, by just thinking it IT is a sin. We cannot say I never perform it because you thought of it. It is like saying I purchased alcohol but I do not plan to consume it or I gave my friend money for drugs but I did not buy the drugs. Wrong! It is a sin!

When you have positive thoughts ranging in different sizes in your head you remain focused that if you are walking on a straight road you see ONLY what is in front of you and not a bird flying on your right and your neighbour excitedly waving on your left.

Meditating on the word, all things lovely, good, noble, true and pure is as the saying goes Good for your health.

Rebuke negative and inaccurate thoughts because a thought entertained is like going to snake, acknowledging it is going to bite you, poison you, entangle you and eat you but you choose to allow this serpent in your life.

Rebuke negative voices that says you cannot, you will never, you will suffer, you will not be forgiven.

Negativity can be brought to you by situations, people, loved ones, the enemy and even you yourself is a convict because if you do not meditate on the word of God, an intimate relationship with God, Prayer,. Worship, praise, listening to right kinds of music (PREFERABLY CHRISTIAN) then do you have time to even allow a negative thought to enter your mind.

A thought turns into an idea, and then soon your whole mentality is transformed to think a certain way. Those negative thought came into your territory. You allowed Mr and Mrs Negative to stay in your outbuilding, you kept checking on Mr and Mrs Negative and they felt so at home they multiplied every time you checked on them. You knew it was wrong or you did not expect to get out of hand. You still checked on the family and the little negatives grew and multiplied until they kicked you out of YOUR home so now you are lost. WHAT TO DO?

MAKE UP YOUR MIND NOW

SET YOUR MIND RIGHT NOW

FOCUS YOUR MIND ON PURITY AND ACURACY

Next time negative comes to visit. You know what to do. Rebuke in the name of Jesus and block out voices of foreigners.

 

The Power in the name of Jesus: Ever thought of it?

I was introduced to a beautiful Christian singer called Kari Jobe (Female) by my first cousin Niselle Naidoo (16). Kari Jobe sings so deep worship music and I enjoy listening to her music daily.

I want to zone in on the lyrics of one the songs she is featuring in with Klaus called “When I speak your name” referring to the name of Jesus. Below is the link you can access to download the song. In my opinion, trust you will feel the same way like I do about the power there is in the lyrics of this song. It is like a declaration of freedom and victory to whatever you may encounter in your life that wants to suffocate the Godly Zoe life out of you or crush your skeletal structure which holds you into place.

We fail to realise the power in name of Jesus and we can speak to our situations by confessing positivity and victory because when we make a declaration from our hearts with faith together with authority. Something supernatural takes place around the environment around that particular situation. Everyone and everything, whether good or bad, angel and even the Devil himself knows the power in the name of Jesus.

What are you waiting for?

Speak to your situation

You will change the atmosphere

You will charge it with the supernatural presence of God

Change will come in the appointed time

The 11^th hour

Joy will come

The Lion of Judah

When I was in high school I was a part of the RCL (Representative Counsel of learners) and I was also a part of the executive body. There was a policeman who came to our school (Welbedene Secondary School) to do a leadership seminar with us. It was very fun, No! Not because I was condoned from classes so I could talk nonstop, laugh uncontrollably and have the time of my life. If you were thinking that (big grin).

 Before I get too carried away as I always do. My point of telling you about me being an RCL was not to brag but to tell you about a question we all had to answer in the seminar with a one reason or more to justify our answer.

The question was.

What animal would you associate yourself with because of similarities, qualities or character and Why?

Not so impressed about the question?

It might seem to you a question that off no significance but it has a lot locked into it, especially what answer and reason you give. Learners struggled to give answers and those learners who did give answers said most common answers amongst them. Example I think I am a Kitten/Cat because I am clean, witty and cute. Everyone wanted to be kittens but I refused to follow suit.

 I said I am a Lion because I am strong, I am a leader. I am brave. The Lion is the King of the Jungle. The Lion hunts down its Prey, the Lion is respected and feared by all animals, the Lion is seen on the Mountain in the Lion King because it’s higher.

Everyone was so impressed and it made them realise there is something better than being just a small cat compared to a big Lion. There is more authority and significance and such greatness brought forth.

My point:

Jesus is the Lion of Judah who goes before us to prepare the way. Jesus is the Lion of Judah who devours our enemies by ripping his insides and making him bleed because he has interfered with Gods people. I say to you because we are of the Lion of the tribe of Judah. We to have authority and power, to rule and reign, to take control because our father is the King of Kings. Allow lion of Judah to take control of your situation and devour your enemy, allow Jesus to fight your battles because some battles we do not fight but the battle is the Lords and the Victory is ours.
