The demand for Ransom

7th May 2012
I am not going to explain who Donovan Munsamy also known as Brandon is to me. After being mentioned in two blog posts you should know him to be my Mentor/Spiritual brother by now. We chatted on Sunday and he inspired me to write a post on the demand and then about ransom so that brings me to my title THE DEMAND FOR RANSOM. I was still working on this post and Pragasen Pillay lead worship in Chatsworth on Sunday 13 May 2012 (Mother’s Day) and mentioned DEMAND. That is not all my Spiritual Daddy Pastor Trevor Dolan ministered and confirmed this blog and two others. God is amazing!
What is a demand?
It is related to a command. It is a statement. It has authority and dominion. You are not asking but telling. There no MANNER VOCABULARY involved in this demanding sentence because it has exclamation marks!
Scenario One:
At a restaurant you get poor service from your clumsy, forgetful, young waitress. Let’s give her a name. What shall we call her? (Put on my or our thinking cap {LOL}). How about Sarah. Sarah makes you wait awhile before she brings your order to you. As you wait your tummy begins singing Opera converting into a hungry beast. The smells of food travel from the kitchen into your nasal cavity and affect the Opera singers and starving beasts trapped in pit of your stomach. The other waitresses and waiters are on the roll. When they pass you the smell hits you and you get more upset, the steam also hits your face and you feel hot headed. A plan of action is needed but your brain requires energy, energy comes from food and this waitress has not brought it to you. The little energy you have you try and use to devise a master plan BUT distractions from fast waiters/waitresses comes and those opera singers and starving beast start acting up once again. Reminds me off Jacob and Esau in the Bible and that Bowl of Soup. History will not repeat itself; there are sauces on the Table.

Sarah smiles and gives you your order; all your plots and plans fade away as the steam evaporates. The little energy you have left is used to reach towards utensils and a platter. Smiling at Sarah you smile and look at your meal about to devour it as she stands beside you to ensure all is well. You look properly at your meal, and you are not surprised, you where brought a wrong order.
This is it, you release hungry beasts and opera singers and your appetite is now lost. Never again will you eat at this restaurant. You Demand to see the manager because you know you are right, in fact you have a right to a good service on time no matter what circumstances. When you see the manager, Sarah is scared because her manager is a higher ranking than her; she may lose her job or get a warning.

Now you understand the term DEMAND. Let’s look at Ransom.

Any action movie has a scene where someone is kidnapped and held hostage by obviously bad guys, if they were good they will not take a person and keep them safe or let alone kidnap. Imagine a few people take you somewhere and treat you like gold and after they are done leave you back in your home, safe and sound, how we wish. Just a few random thoughts thrown at you from my imaginative mind.
As I was saying to you. In most cases people who are kidnapped are either people in power, rich family or friends.  The bad guys are certain they will get a big amount of cash in small period of time if they get somebody kidnaped from a rich family. They will not kidnap a beggar from a street corner or a middle class individual; they rather join these individuals in their jobs or daily routines. Not worthy kidnapping a middle class/ Poor person all because these people have no big cash on hand.  The enemy calls the victim’s family with their voice exposed or a special device changing their voices into a voice from scary movie. (Chuckling away). They tell the family what we see happen in any movie this scene occurs in, “BRING THE _______ (RANSOM) MONEY TO ______LOCATION AT _____ TIME ON THE DOT, COME ALONE AND DO NOT TELL THE COPS OR WE WILL HURT _________”. The bad guy takes the victim near the mobile  for them to scream through a dirty looking piece of dusting furniture or washing car cloth tied around their mouth, EEEEWWW!!!!. The victim will try and have a lengthy conversation with their family member as if the bad guys are lending free minutes. The victim might say do not come it is a trap and the bad guys cut the call.  The victim’s family get police involved and bad guys find out, if bad guys do not find out, WHERES THE MOVIE? WHERE IS THE ACTION?
It is predictable because in a scary movie I know somebody is going to slip and twist their ankle and throughout the whole movie they will be limping and running away from their killer with help from someone else who will try to help them balance and be their eyes and not forgetting saying “HE IS COMING, FASTER”. The individual limping will say “LEAVE ME”. The helper will say I am not leaving you.  At the end the one limping survives. They need to change it around now.
Really, (Shaking head from side to side).
What did I tell you??????? PREDICTABLE!!!!!!!

Scenario Two:
(Inspired to use the name when I entered and boring Lecture in Lecture 7 UKZN Edgewood for language and Literacy 320 and found this on the smart bored, I smiled to myself to know God wanted me to use this in this post)
There is a man called SINBAD (Not his name SIN_BAD) also known as Satan and he Kidnaps you because he hears you have big inheritance from ABRAHAM. Sinbad did his homework and found out you are a prince and princess and your father is the King of the world. Sinbad knew a smart move is to kidnap you. Sinbad calls your Father. Abba Father

also known as God answers and (Such a Glory as I type this part to you) send Ransom as promised.

ABBA Father sends JESUS and TWO STICKS. Jesus nailed to the cross is what Father sends to Sinbad. As sung by Chris Tomlin, JESUS MESSIAH; a part of the Lyrics there is a line that goes “THE RANSOME FROM HEAVEN”. Whom the son sets free is free indeed.
you are now free

You can demand wisdom, demand the anointing. Demand for it with authority because you have the right to demand for it. Ask like it is yours, have faith and call what is not as if it is.

Secret Agents

I would not consider myself much of a couch potatoes
but when I spend time with my first cousins Calin Jainarain (13) and Jachin Samuel Jainarain (8) watching movies like spy kids or any other type of movies having detectives like FBI, CSI

and so forth are so interesting to me. You have an individual, either a group or an organization who seems to lead a normal life to those around them but no one knows they are secret agents working undercover. Some organizations work along with the government or person in power helping bring Justice and freedom. These organizations have no evidence of their existence. Their lives are given for the agency. How cool is that. What’s even better! We are secret agents for Christ on Earth. Superheroes, hitmen are other examples of people organizations have, hire and use to execute a plan successfully. There is a secret place these agents meet ti discuss  a plan known as HEADQUARTERS.

Note: Soldiers for Christ (Previous blog post) mentioned we are here on a mission. With regards to secret agents we have assignments given to us.

What do I mean??????

We are in the world but not of the world. We are here to bring change so I guess we could say we are also Known as changing agents. We are here to say to those in darkness ‘Show yourself’. To remove chains of bondage, to remove scales from their eyes, to set the captives free, to remove burdens. Not with our power or our own strength but from God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We are here to give back what the opposing agency wants to take away, kill and destroy. To give hope to the hopeless. To save souls, encourage, love, show those whom are lost there’s way out. To preach the Gospel. To feed the hungry and clothe the poor.

Isaiah 61

Secret agents sometimes expose their true identity when working on an assignment.

GOD'S Promises

Date: 6th May 2012
Venue: under the tent in Chatsworth (745 house number 15) where Kainos Covenant Community hosted our Nights of hope.

I was e-mailed by Purshia Leah Naicker to please do impartation on Gods promises on Sunday the 6th of May.
What is impartation?
If you are a new born baby to this term. It is a declaration.
What is a declaration?
Really now!
My blog post called “RANDOM THOUGHTS RANGING IN MY HEAD AND FLOWING FROM THE DEPTHS OF MY HEART” actually flowed into Gods Promises. I was going to take the easy way out; I will not lie to and take a portion of the post to declare in the meeting BUT I felt within me God saying Why give stale bread , when I can show give you FRESH MANNA TO SHARE WITH MY PEOPLE. 45 min before Church could start (half 9) God directed my impartation. My mentor and Spiritual brother who I look up to Brandon also known as Donovan/Don chatted to me via bbm. I was telling him I am doing impartation and I am unaware of the path I should tread upon. He said to me I should talk about how God said he will never flood the Earth and the rainbow is his Promise.
This is what I shared and what I forgot to type out on my memo in my blackberry. It did not matter because God reminded me as I imparted.

Let the sons and daughters arise, gate keepers, watchmen, Soldiers for Christ, Prince and Princesses.
Even as I impart to you I want you to agree with what is being said.
(Grabbed my Bible with my left hand) The word of God is our manual. Our book of instruction. The very spoken word of God. I want you to realise God is not man that he will lie. (Bible put Down on Podium)
I declare and decree over your situation, your obstacle, your fire,

that prison, that closed door. When Christ died, the Veil was torn. It is done, it is finished. All is well with my soul.
God’s promises will come to pass because he is not liar. Man may fail us but God will never fail us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He comes in at the KAIROS, God’s appointed time.
God’s promises us that when we have sorrow and cry in the Night time. Joy will come in the Morning. God has collected your tears and now given you the oil of gladness which flows from the throne room of God in heaven.
I declare and decree psalms 23.
The lord is my Shepherd I shall not WANT. You will not be in a place of LACK because I declare and decree God is able to do more than your mind can imagine because his ways and thoughts are far higher than our ways and thoughts.

The word of God says he will not allow your foot to slip and will allow Angels to carry you so you won’t hurt your feet on the rocks.

‘I have been young and old and I have never seen the righteous forsaken’. God orders the footsteps of the righteous.
God says: all things are possible. God can perform the impossible in your Life
God says: He is close to the Broken hearted.
God says do not fear. I am with you says the Lord. Emmanuel. Is with us.
We will never be alone. I declare and decree we will always feel the embrace of the FATHER.
I declare and decree Psalms 91. The Lord will keep you safe from secret traps and deadly diseases. He will spread his wings over you and keep you secure.
When the enemy comes he (GOD) will raise up a standard against him.
God will pour out his spirit on all flesh
When you endure trials and tribulations God will  give you what he has promised to those who endure trials and that is the crown of Eternal life.

I declare an d decree a rainbow over you and your storm so you will know that God has promised you that there will be no flood.

`Random thoughts ranging in my head and flowing from the depths of my heart

Do you not find it odd how we might end up being close friends with ones we least expected and sometimes find it hard to talk to certain friends about our situations which seem to bug us. We meet people from the opposite sex that hurt us and teach us lessons and makes us appreciate someone better that comes along. We fall in love, and out of love, we grow in love and that very same love which grew and blossomed SOMETIMES eventually shrivels and dries up. In other instances it remains strong and steadfast.
(Note: Random thoughts Part two...http://leticianaidoo.blogspot.com/2012/11/random-thoughts-ranging-in-my-head-and.html)

These are a part of our Victorious Journey called life. When we realize our lives are not being lived only for ourselves but we live for Christ and Christ alone then our Journey takes a different route and we appreciate the humps and bumps of our journey through time into our Destiny, Gods will for our lives.

When you read my posts I want you to ask yourself a few questions regarding what’s going on behind the scenes. What really causes me to be brave enough to let people know what I feel, thinks, see, want and desire?
What did I experience to make me write this in a blog post?
I also want you to understand I also have my fair share of Drama, suffering and backstabbing.
There are moments of throwing in the towel and gathering the courage to say to people and God “I GIVE UP NOW! I THINK I HAD JUST ABOUT ENOUGH!!!”
I also had moments where I was not worthy of favour, opportunity, liberty, breakthrough and God divinely intervening on my behalf.
YES! I was gossiped to, with and about.
I have cried so much I swallowed my tears, lost my appetite, laughed so hard I felt I was  about to explode.
I have met bipolar people, had low self-esteem, had broken promises but I still stand tall.
All because I have a God that’s promises has never failed me.

He is not man that he will lie. The word of God says he will not allow your foot to slip and he will never leave nor forsake you. I like how David says “I HAVE BEEN YOUNG AND OLD AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE RIGHTEOUS FORSAKEN”
God has ordered the footsteps of the righteous.
He has allowed angels to take charge of you.

You are the apple of his eye

A written reflection on my thoughts and life in December 2011

24th December 2011

My hand is so sore, each time I bent my wrist it was even sore. This inspired me, weird you might think because how can pain inspire someone. Many people get inspired by pain and through suffering people like David who wrote the psalms, Job and Victor Frankyl, held a prisoner in the Nazi concentration camp by Adolf Hitler. Victor Frankyl discovered some of the greatest theories through his suffering.

When we are walking tall all the time we are perfectly fine because we have adapted to an upright position  but when our backbone has been bent or broken it then becomes very difficult for you to stand up straight again and when you are bent over again it hurts even more. Like Salt in your wounds or you unintentionally biting your lips and you do it again but deeper. It hurts so bad but so what when it heals you appreciate you being healed.

28th December 2011

When it comes to the last three months of the year I generally reflect on the year. Being so grateful to God for his favour and also looking at my mistakes and thinking was I insane or what, okay maybe a little insane (Laughing). I begin to get upset and I remind myself “I AM HUMAN”. Is this my excuse or my reason every time I sin?

I know no one is perfect but God and I know the flesh can cause you to sin if you allow it to. The flesh must decrease in order for the Spirit man to increase. The factors which increase the Spirit is reading you book of instructions, praying more for others than your own needs, worshiping in Gods throne (Throne room Worship) which equals to an intimate relationship with the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).

Forces

23 April 2012

Forces shape our lives every day, directly and indirectly.  What are forces? In Physics Forces are defined as a push or a pull in a certain direction be it North, south, east or west or up and down. We experience forces in every area of our lives; physically we experience a gravitational force towards the Earth so we are not afloat like in space. Emotionally situations determine how we feel and react. Are you an up and down person because of the way you feel. One minute you are up and next you are down or are it one day positive and another negative. Is depression a force tugging on you, bringing you obviously down. To me, in my opinion, I am just telling you how I feel about it. It is like being neither hot or cold which is equal to being Luke warm and you know what Revelations 3V16 says about being Luke warm. If you do not please feel free to read your manual, the scary part is God spitting you out.

It can be derived that there exists positive and negative forces and depression is an example of a negative force. If this be the case then what is justified to be positives forces which can shape us positively? Anything which is accurate, good, gentle and off God. Spending time in Gods chambers, at his feet, eating of his word and drinking his wine. These positive forces allow your feet to be placed on higher ground and on the ROCK (JESUS). These Positive forces will draw you to God like a Magnet. These Positive Forces will push you forward; will make you the head, these positive forces will take you higher.

I want to paint two pictures to you by using words and if you would allow your mind and be relaxed for just a moment to imagine the following two scenes:

Scene One:
There is clay in your hand and it is not pretty because it’s a clump of clay with no particular shape. In order for it to be useful to us by a vase, an ornament or clay pots we need to shape and mould clay. To shape the clay into something useful we need to apply forces towards the clay.

Situations shape and mould us. We are but clay in the Potters hand (GOD) and God moulds us into something useful. At first we are just a clump of clay, then we are moulded, we are hollow, then God fills us until we run over, with living waters and the oil of Gladness. Enlarge your territory so you can contain what God wants to give you. Open the folds of your tents to the North, South, East and West.

Scene Two:
You are running a race and there’s is a friend who helps you buy pulling you forward, a team member from another team sees this and tries to pull you backwards.
In which direction will you go? Forward or Backwards?
Allow me answer the question for you. It all depends on the strength of the forces, whichever is stronger you will go in that direction.

Make sure you are cemented in Christ so when the enemy comes in you will not be moved by those negative forces.

Part 4: Stairs and Ladders

Physically:
Stairs in building and homes, stairs outside leading to homes and buildings. Moving stairs are called escalators found in malls. Ladders are used for those hands on kid off jobs, more a handy man’s/woman’s job (trying not to be sexists, it can be sensitive you know {smirk on my face})  like painting house, walls and roofs, putting aerials, changing globes and I think I made you realise why there is a need for a ladder. Children playing on a jungle gym will climb a ladder, a game that has ladders, be it video games or board games, a ladder to climb a slide at a pool (Ushaka Marine World). We can agree with a statement that stairs and ladders work two ways that is you can go up and down.

Spiritually:
Stairs and ladders can lead us to the throne rooms of God which is situated in the Heavens. The trick is to have the strength necessary to climb the stairs. There is a bar if you are afraid of heights called trust and faith. To climb a ladder you are not allowed to look down at your past. You are required not to carry your burdens but cast it to Jesus so your shoulders are light.  You must also focus above on God; make Jesus the centre of it all. Make sure you are going up and never down.
