What is an addiction? Is it Good or Bad?
All depends on what it is you addicted to. You could be addicted to a habit that is drinking, smoking, drugs, type of food, partying, shopping or a person, maybe a game, a hobby has become an addiction, medication, social Networks.
An addiction can add value to your life or take away value.
An addiction can take you away from people by you becoming anti-social. Addictions can make us create items as idols and we are unaware of it. The only person should be the centre focus; our bull’s eye should be Jesus. Making items and habits idols means we are putting other worldly things first then we are putting God second which is unacceptable. There is only one living God that is Jesus and no idols.

Why do Drugs? |
I am addicted to a person who has swept me off my feet; he is my king and my all in all. He is the one I wish to dance with, dine with, my friend and my lover. He tastes sweeter than wine and words can heal me from the inside, out. His gentle touch reaches the depths of my soul till my entire being is restored.
That person if you do not know then I urge you not to delay a split second in getting to know him.
His name is JC also known as Jesus Christ. Sound familiar?
Not so much but rings a bell you say.
You might know him as his other names, all depending on his role to you.
Light of the world?
Bright and morning Star?
Son of God?
Lion and the Lamb?
Messiah?
Saviour?
There are so many other names to cover.
I would love to tell you more names my lover goes by but I am in a hurry to go for a special meeting. Perhaps, you would like to accompany me. Please do not hesitate.

You know how Alcoholics have AA (Alcoholic Anonymous) classes they attend to help them deal with their addictions. I myself must confess, I am going to special meetings called A2J
but here they encourage your addiction.
We almost there now.
These meetings are called Church, prayer meetings, Youth, home cell, home church, crusades, nights of hope and a few others.

Hi My name is Leticia Naidoo and I am addicted to Christ. I can not imagine my life without him. I love him with every fibre of being. I will spend my life for Christ alone . this life I live is not for me . it belongs to God because I owe it to him. I am not ashamed to live a life pure. We should be addicted to Jesus because there are no consequences of Lack because Psalms 23 clearly states the Lord is my shepherd I shall not want. I will not be in a place of lack. When you are addicted to Christ you will not be in a place of dryness because of Gods living waters that flows. You will not be in a place of loneliness because he is your friend. Addicted to Christ won’t make you sell personal possessions or use up all your wealth like a bad addiction. In fact it is free because who the son sets free is free INDEED.
All God asks is for you to worship him and spend some time in his presence. If you weigh this you will see it’s greater than any bargain in your local Market, factory shop or bulk store. Feed you addiction with the Lord, word, intimate relationship.
