Brokeness = Breakthrough + Breakfree

How can brokenness, a name which is broken and useless be equal to any break through?

Any appliance, ornament or object when it is broken you throw it away OR do you do what my 73 year old grandfather does?
Keep it to dismantle it try and fix it. If he wins we have a use for it but if he fails then my mum and I better find a way of throwing it away (Serious face).

How can any object or situation be beneficial if any component is broken?
Watch this space.

A seed is planted in the rich loam fertile soil. A seed is watered and exposed to sunlight. After days of nurturing a seed you see sprouts appear from the ground. Over joyed from your sprout knowing it will grow to produce.
BUT
What you fail to realise is ……..
The seed needed to be broken before it produced. The seed was dropped in a hole like Joseph’s brother throwing him in a pit. (Genesis 37). The seed was pushed into the soil like you being shoved into a position that does not have a mould for you to fit in. We fail to acknowledge a seed breaks before its roots stretch towards d soil. It is painful when we are stretched in all directions. The stem stretches towards the sun (pun intended-SON of GOD) and trusts me it is not an enjoyable process.

A pregnant woman waits for her water pipe to break before giving birth to child/children. Pass you due date and you water pipe did not break?
It is urgent for you to go to the doctor as soon as possible. Your child needs to break free.
Her birth canal is stretched as she pushes through.
How bad do you want break through?
Push through
Birth forth Newness

An egg shell needs to be broken for a chick or reptile to emerge out of the shell there has to be a stretching of body parts because a chick/Reptile is not laid in an egg with the necessary tools (Chisel, hammer) to break out.
Can u imagine a Reptile chiselling his way through?
It’s not easy and some Mothers help their children only if they make an effort to break the shell a little.
Remind me of Abba, God will help you but you have to show him you have the willingness and sometimes the willingness is faith and believing God is able even in a dark shell.

Grapes are crushed and its skin breaks, the grapes is smashed and wine is produces. A Gethsemane position

A coconut is cracked open to eat the coconut and drink coconut water.

Dross needs to be broken

Horns are removed and scraped

Let me explain to you how hot springs are formed. I was fascinated by it when I learnt about it myself before teaching it to my wonderful grade five learners (Natural Science) during Teaching Practice. The Earth has three layers like an Astro or a Fererro chocolate. The first layer is the crust, then the chocolate layer is the mantle and the biscuit centre or the nutty centre represents the centre of the Earth our Core which has a Temperature of 6000 degree Celsius.

The top layer, the crust is like 680 km thick, there is a crack from deep within and the water is hot because of the heat from the core. The water pushes through the crack and the through the top layer of the surface of the Earth BUT we will only get a hot spring if the earth’s crust is thin. In weakness, spring up like a hot spring. We can boast in weakness al because God can even come through to us in that spilt second when we need him the most.

Parts of this post like most posts where typed during great trials and brokenness, giving up is no option. Pushing through is what you have to do because we were not designed to be weak and fragile but strong and victorious. Even weakness you can go through the throne rooms of God and worship, at times I fought with him because situations tried to drain me and make me feel overcome with sickness. I refused to stay to long in a situation. I do not mind being tested but I refuse to be tormented. I will hunt down the enemy and drop the word of God on his head.

As I felt weak and broken I decided not to sit and mope but spend some time in the sweet presence of Yahweh. I said to God when I reached his Throne room “I don’t want to feel” before I could complete a sentence to God. He came to embrace me and it ushered in a strong presence of God. It is true Psalms 34 v 18 “YAHWEH is CLOSE to the BROKEN hearted and SAVES those who have CRUSHED spirit”.

Was Jesus Messiah not crushed and broken, tempted by the enemy?
A broken man on tree?
He is no longer a baby in a manger, a broken man on the cross, he’s alive, and he’s coming, prepare the way. Lyrics taken from Misty Edwards, Lion of Judah.
